Join me Esther at Esther's Manna House for a cooking experience to learn how you can create a 'Balti Chicken' at home. Cooking skills: None required - this class is suitable for all skill levels (novice to experts) Minimum Age: 13* and above Balti is an ancient Indian dish that is cooked in an Indian cast iron, round-bottomed wok with two handles called a 'karahi'. You will be amazed by the simplicity and rich flavours of this dish and even kids can do it - so, we have 6 teens taking this on as a challenge and we are inviting any one else interested to join Esther and 6 boys who will cook Balti Chicken from scratch. This class will also give attendees demo/tasters as well as if desired to have a go at rotti**, which we will prepare for the final meal consisting of; Balti Chicken Rotti (Time permitting you might be able to make your own Rotti). Rice Aloo Katchumber (a simple Indian refreshing salad) You have the option to take the full meal home i.e what you cook from scratch and all the accompaniments (don't forget to bring your own containers). Come and watch, taste and cook (hands on) this amazing dish. The knowledge and hands on experience you take away will leave you delighted for years to come. *13-17 year olds must be accompanied by a participating paying adult. **Rotti (Indian flat bread).
