Service Description
Join me Esther at Esther's Manna House for a hand-on cookery experience to learn how you can create an authentic 'Balti Chicken' at home. Suitable for 13+ Balti is an ancient Indian dish cooked in a 'karahi'—a traditional cast iron, round-bottomed wok. You will be amazed by the simplicity and rich flavours of this dish, which you will learn to cook from scratch. This class is suitable for all skill levels, from novices to experts, and is open to anyone aged 13 and above. In addition to cooking the Balti Chicken from scratch, the experience includes: - Demonstrations and Tasters: Learn the secrets to perfect Pilau Rice and Rotti (Indian flatbread). - Hands-on Extras: Time permitting, you will have the opportunity to try making your own Rotti. - A Complete Meal: We will prepare a final meal consisting of your Balti Chicken, Pilau Rice, Rotti, and Katchumber (a refreshing Indian salad). You have the option to enjoy the meal with us or take the full meal and accompaniments home to share (please remember to bring your own containers).
