Join me Esther at Esther's Manna House for a cooking experience to learn how you can create a simplified version of Chicken Korma. Cooking skills: None required - this class is suitable for all skill levels (novice to experts) Minimum Age: 13* and above Not suitable for: Those allergic to dairy** & nuts*** You will cook from scratch a Korma - Take home what you create. We will provide you with tips/tricks to help you create your dish plus give you knowledge of spices Chicken Korma is a Persian influenced dish popularised by the Mughals and dates back to the 16th century. There are many versions of Korma and it can be made with vegetables, chicken, beef or even lamb which are normally marinated with yogurt or stock. A korma can be as mild or as fiery as you wish and can be cooked combining spinach and vegetables like turnips which is more common in Northern India. In this class you will learn to cook this delicious dish which you take home. (DO NOT FORGET TO BRING YOUR OWN CONTAINER). *13-17 year olds must be accompanied by a participating paying adult. **Allergic to lactose ***Nut Allergy FSA describes Nut Allergy as nuts belonging to tree nuts (such as almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts, Brazil nuts, cashews, pecans, pistachios and macadamia nuts).
