Service Description

Join me Esther at Esther's Manna House for a cooking demonstration on how to make a simplified version of Chicken Tikka* Masala at home. No cooking skills required. Suitable for - All including GF and lactose free. Ages - Above 13 (13-17 year old must accompany a paying adult). Learn to make this delicious dish and enjoy it with your choice of naan, rice, or even a simple Indian salad at the end of the class or simply bring containers and take home with the Tikka Masala Chicken you have cooked. The session includes; - Introduction to spices and herbs used on the day (including medicinal and therapeutic uses). - Demo/Taste/Hands on cooking of Tikka Masala from scratch. - Learn how to do Naan or Rotti, Rice (the accompaniments that makes your lunch or dinner for the day. Note; - We do all the preparation (that is chopping before you come) - you simply bring yourself. - In your session you learn to cook not just for yourself on the day. You take away the knowledge and skills to cook for the whole family and friends mild/medium or hot variations of the same dish. - We only use freshly sourced ingredients and all fresh veg and meat are bought on the day. - Our ethos is to provide all attendees the confidence to cook and eat quality food and as much as possible we source locally (exceptions are the exotic ingredients and world foods). - You are free to communicate after your session for 4 weeks if you get stuck at any stage or have any questions which might help you - we simply want you to enjoy cooking authentic Indian food at home. - We provide cold and hot drinks throughout your session. So, come and have a fun filled cooking day with Esther - memories you make will last you many years to come. Tikka* - 'Tikka' name given during Mughal reign in India is a piece of meat (or vegetable) made by marinading the chosen pieces in spices and yoghurt. **Nut Allergy FSA describes Nut Allergy as nuts belonging to tree nuts (such as almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts, brazil nuts, cashews, pecans, pistachios and macadamia nuts). BRING YOUR ONN BOXES IF TAKING HOME.
