Service Description

Join me Esther at Esther's Manna House for a cooking demonstration on how to make a tasty GF three course meal. No cooking skills required - this class is suitable for all levels, including non gluten-free and vegetarian or non-vegetarian participants. Not suitable for - Those suffering with nut allergy** In this session you will be given master class on; 1. Bringing together of spices (blending) and flavours of Indian cookery in a simplified way 2. How to make GF bread and other side dishes easily with readily available ingredients 3. Learn how to prepare and bring together a full GF Indian meal. You will cook 1 main and 1 side dish as well as learn to cook GF rotti and other accompaniment for your dishes. 1. You will learn basic spices used in Indian cookery as well as their potential health benefits 2. How to blend various spices with different dishes. 3. Cook a main dish (vegetarian or non vegetarian) 4. Cook a side dish (vegetarian) 5. Demo on GF rotti (Indian Bread) 6. Demo/taste GF Street food Dosa 7. Sample some GF dips and chutneys. Eat in or take home what you cook including accompaniments (rice, rotti, kachumber salad along with your cooked dishes). Note; - We do all the preparation (that is chopping before you come) - you simply bring yourself. - In your session you learn to cook not just for yourself on the day. You take away the knowledge and skills to cook for the whole family and friends mild/medium or hot variations of the same dish. - We only use freshly sourced ingredients and all fresh veg and meat are bought on the day. - Our ethos is to provide all attendees the confidence to cook and eat quality food and as much as possible we source locally (exceptions are the exotic ingredients and world foods). - You are free to communicate after your session for 4 weeks if you get stuck at any stage or have any questions which might help you - we simply want you to enjoy cooking authentic Indian food at home. - We provide cold and hot drinks throughout your session. So, come and learn together to make some tastiest GF dishes and enjoy them by eating in at EMH whilst sharing your experience with fellow participants at the end of the class. Or simply take it home with you to share with family and friends (PLEASE DON'T FORGET TO BRING CONTAINERS WITH YOU) **Nut Allergy FSA describes Nut Allergy as nuts belonging to tree nuts (such as almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts, Brazil nuts, cashews, pecans, pistachios and macadamia nuts).
