Cook from scratch (demo/taster and step by step cooking). Join me, Esther, at Esther's Manna House for an unforgettable cooking experience where you’ll learn, from my 40 years of experience, to create a simplified flavoursome of my version of Prawn with Coconut and Mango, which any body can cook at home. This is a light yet indulgent dish mainly cooked in southern India as well as in the coastal regions where fresh coconut is in abundance. In this class, you'll master the art of cooking from scratch a Prawn dish with mango and coconut (as titled) alongside rice, Rotti**, paratha and simple Indian salad kachumber. The class covers basic knowledge of spicing, blending and some techniques as well as all ingredients, setup, preparation - so all you need to do is just show up! Soft drinks included (Coffee, Tea, Juice) Details: GF Friendly. Cooking skills: None required—this class is perfect for all skill levels, from novices to experts. Minimum age: 13* and above Not suitable for: Those with nut** allergies (nut are not used in this dish however, the spice may come from a factory where nuts may have been present). You can take home what you have cooked (with accompaniments) - Just bring your own containers x 2. This hands-on experience will allow you to watch, taste, and actively cook this amazing dish. The knowledge and skills you will gain will bring you joy for years to come. Note: " Participants aged 13-17 must be accompanied by paying and participating adult (unless we have granted special permission). ** Nut allergies applies. Nut allergies as defined by FSA include tree nuts (almonds, hazel nut, wall nuts, brazil nuts, cashews, pecan, pistachios, macadamia nuts). *** Rotti - Indian flat bread non GF (wheat flour). Time permitting you may have the chance to make your own roti and or paratha.
