Service Description
Course Overview - Indian street-food workshop. Suitable for all (excluding* - see foot note). Not suitable for - nut allergy sufferers (excluding* - see foot note). This session is a combination of demo/taster and hands on cooking of some very loved Indian Snacks/Mains. This HALF DAY workshop comprises of; The course is part demo/taster and part cooking by the attendees. This session comprises of; ~ Poha ~ Dhokla ~ Pani Puri ~ Onion Bhajiya (Erroneously called ''Bhaji') with a dip. ~Dips/chutneys/raitas (to go with above - made in advance as time doesn't permit it) Learning and cooking with Esther; 1. The art of balancing spice and blending. 2. Demo of all dishes and a little sample taster. 3. Roll up your sleeves and cook/re-create dish (dishes) - you will cook at least one dish from scratch to be eaten at EMH or take home (with dip) The duration of the class includes teaching demos and hands-on cooking, as well as time to eat in (if that is your choice). You will be given lots of tips as with all our classes to recreate any dish to suit your palate making this an unforgettable experience. In Summary: What is on offer? Easy-to-follow demos, led by Esther. Demo dishes (with a small taster of all dishes) Learn to cook from scratch - one of the dishes with dip We provide all ingredients (chopped and prepped ready for you), aprons as well as drinks (tea, coffee and soft drinks) You will be helped all the way along to re-create the dish(dishes) *13-17 year olds must be accompanied by a participating paying adult. * Those suffer with food allergies - check with us before booking. *Nut Allergy FSA describes Nut Allergy as nuts belonging to tree nuts (such as almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts, Brazil nuts, cashews, pecans, pistachios and macadamia nuts).
